DOESN’T IGNITE

When an electric stove won’t turn on, first check if the stove is plugged in and that all circuit breakers are switched on. You need to check the pilot light for gas appliances. If the stove is plugged in and the pilot light is lit in the oven, then another part of the oven will have to be replaced. The cause of the issue could be the surface element, infinite switch, burner igniter or broil and bake element.

OVEN WON’T HEAT

A stove or burner or oven with no produce heat won’t do much good. An oven won’t heat when there is a broken oven sensor or a malfunctioning bake element. A burner does not ignite when an element is broken or if the burner switch or terminal block do not work. OVEN IS VERY HOT

You always want a hot oven. But not too hot! If the heat is too hot, it might be because of a broken sensor or thermostat. Our appliance technicians are able to find the location of the problem and then fix it. But be careful when troubleshooting this problem for fear of burns from the high and totally unpredictable heat.

IGNITER WILL NOT LIGHT

A reoccurring stove problem is times where an igniter glows but does not light. The cause is sometimes from either a broken electronic control, surface igniter, safety valve or temperature sensor.
